At New England Scaffolding, safety is always our top priority. Our comprehensive safety program features:

  • Full time safety director
  • Full time project managers to monitor jobs in progress regarding safety
  • Inspections at the completion of every job for safety, compliance and workmanship
  • Weekly safety meetings for all field personnel with our safety director
  • Safety inspections with a check list of every job site, every day
  • Tool box meetings with the job supervisor and crew covering the safety and work scope at every job, every day
  • Fall protection and tie off policy
  • Hard hat policy
  • Independent safety consultant for weekly written reports on unannounced job inspections for safety and compliance
  • Independent consultant to monitor compliance changes in the industry
  • Inspection and service of all equipment before it goes on our trucks
  • Daily crane inspections


Certifications

  • OSHA-10 and competent person certification courses for all field personnel
  • Ongoing certification and review programs for all field, trucking, and warehouse personnel


New Hire Procedures

Before joining the New England Scaffolding team, each individual goes through a rigorous pre-employment process including:

  • Background checks
  • Physical capacity assessments administered at an independent facility to ensure that each individual can safely perform the job requirements
  • In house training and orientation
