- Full time safety director
- Full time project managers to monitor jobs in progress regarding safety
- Inspections at the completion of every job for safety, compliance and workmanship
- Weekly safety meetings for all field personnel with our safety director
- Safety inspections with a check list of every job site, every day
- Tool box meetings with the job supervisor and crew covering the safety and work scope at every job, every day
- Fall protection and tie off policy
- Hard hat policy
- Independent safety consultant for weekly written reports on unannounced job inspections for safety and compliance
- Independent consultant to monitor compliance changes in the industry
- Inspection and service of all equipment before it goes on our trucks
- Daily crane inspections
Certifications
- OSHA-10 and competent person certification courses for all field personnel
- Ongoing certification and review programs for all field, trucking, and warehouse personnel
New Hire Procedures
Before joining the New England Scaffolding team, each individual goes through a rigorous pre-employment process including:
- Background checks
- Physical capacity assessments administered at an independent facility to ensure that each individual can safely perform the job requirements
- In house training and orientation
